Leonard Stern, 1923 – 2011

It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of I’m Dickens…He’s Fenster creator and executive producer Leonard Stern. Leonard passed on June 7, 2011 at the age of 87. His career spanned over 6 decades and included being executive producer of Get Smart, MacMillan & Wife, The Snoop sisters and writing for The Honeymooners, among a myriad of other accomplishments. He was also the co-creator with Roger Price of the wildly popular word game “Mad Libs.”
Leonard will be greatly missed, and while we deeply regret his passing before the release of I’m Dickens… He’s Fenster on DVD, which is scheduled now for this fall, he was intimately involved in the production and got to see a rough version of the finished product. The release will now include a tribute video to Leonard and his amazing career.
